Just 3 monts past the one year warrenty, the unit froze up. Called in and "technition" made no effort to correct the problem. All he wanted to do was sell me a new unit. Adios Magellan!!!

This GPS device worked great for just under a year and then all of a sudden the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I tried charging it with the USB cable and also with the cigarette lighter adapter and now it will only work for a few minutes before shutting off...not long enough for me to get to my destination. When I called the company they were very unhelpful. I didn't have a receipt to prove ownership because it was a gift and I wasn't given a receipt with it. I guess you all should learn from my mistake and register your product immediately...otherwise you're out of luck when the thing craps out in less than a year.
